What payment types do you accept?

We accept PayPal as well as all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, JCB, and Diners Club.

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges for purchases. We recognize that skincare is a personal experience; however, we are unable to resell opened merchandise and all returned product would need to be thrown away. As a small company, we simply don't have the margins to accommodate this without raising our prices. We do offer refunds if a product was faulty or damaged during shipping. Can I make changes to an order after I placed it?

Generally, no. We strive to ship your order as soon as humanly possible after you place it, and once it's been shipped, it's out of our hands. You can try emailing info@stratiaskin.com and we'll do everything we can, but no promises.

Shipping and Delivery

Where do you ship to?

We ship to just about every country in the world. Due to COVID-19, there are some restrictions on international deliveries. Please check this page for a current list of service disruptions.

How much is shipping?

Stratia offers free US shipping on orders over $35, free shipping to Canada on orders over $100, and free international shipping on orders over $150. For all other orders, we offer flat rate shipping:

• Domestic (US) under $35: $5 flat rate

• To Canada under $100: $11.95 flat rate

• To all other countries under $150: $14.95 flat rate

For US orders, we also offer next-day shipping. Orders must be placed before 3pm local time Monday-Friday in order to arrive the next day. If an order is placed after 3pm or on a weekend, the order will ship the following business day. We normally offer additional expedited shipping options both domestically and internationally, but we have suspended this service due to COVID-19. We will reinstate these options once carriers are able to resume their normal shipping guarantees.

What is subscribe to save?

Subscribe to save is a way for you to ensure that you receive a regular delivery of your favorite Stratia products based on the schedule you select. In addition to ensuring you never run out of your must-haves, you can also save 5% on every order. Subscription options are available internationally.

Based on your delivery schedule, you will be charged on a 30, 60, or 90 day cycle once your order ships.

How can I change or cancel my recurring subscription?

To make changes to your subscription, go to stratiaskin.com and login to your account to make any edits. You can change your order frequency, skip a delivery, or cancel your subscription altogether. If you have any issues, please email us at info@stratiaskin.com and we can help!

I've moved! How do I update the shipping address for my subscription order?

To update your subscription mailing address, just sign into your account and click the "Manage Subscriptions" link. If you haven't already created an account, you can create one now and your subscriptions will automatically be linked. Please note: You must update your mailing address in the "Manage Subscriptions" section. Subscription orders are handled separately, and updating your mailing address on your general account will not automatically update your subscription address. We know this is a pain and we're working on it!

Product Questions

Are your products vegan?

C+C Serum, Fortify, Soft Touch AHA, Night Shift, and Velvet Cleansing Milk are vegan. Rewind uses n-acetyl glucosamine sourced from sea shells, and Liquid Gold uses cholesterol derived from lanolin (the oil on sheep's wool).

Are you cruelty-free?

Yes, we are cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified! Stratia products and prototypes are only ever tested on consenting human volunteers. Our ingredients and formulations are never tested on animals.

Are your products safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding?

All our products except Night Shift are safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding! Night Shift contains retinol, which doctors caution against using while pregnant.

I have a question about ingredient percentages in a product!

Liquid Gold has 4% niacinamide, and Rewind has 5% niacinamide. Rewind also has 2.5% DMAE and 2.5% panthenol. C+C Serum has 10% L-Ascorbic Acid and 5% Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate. Night Shift has 0.15% retinol.

In what order should I use your products?

All seven products traditionally go in this order, although feel free to find what works best for you:

1. Velvet Cleansing Milk - use this once or twice a day either as your first step or after a cleansing oil/micellar water to remove makeup.

2. C+C Serum - use this on clean, bare, dry skin, preferably in the morning.

3. Soft Touch AHA - use this on clean, bare, dry skin, preferably in the evening.

4. Rewind - this is a watery essence, so should be used before oils and creams.

5. Fortify - use a few drops before moisturizer. You can also mix a couple drops with your moisturizer in your hand.

6. Liquid Gold - this is a moisturizing lotion with occlusive ingredients, so it should go toward the end of your routine.

7. Night Shift - this is a night cream, so it should be the last step of your evening routine.

What's the shelf life of your products?

The expiration date is printed on the bottom or side of the bottle. Most Stratia products are good for at least one year from purchase, if stored in a cool, dry place away from excessive heat and light. Night Shift is good for one year from manufacture, due to the fragile nature of retinol. This means that your bottle may be good for less than a year from purchase. However, it will still be safe to use beyond that date, the retinol may just be less potent.

Why does my packaging look different from the photos on the site?

We're in the midst of a packaging upgrade! We're still using the same bottles, but now we're printing the label info directly onto the bottles rather than applying sticker labels. Nothing about the formula or products themselves has changed. During this transition period, you may receive some products with the new packaging alongside ones with the sticker labels. No, at this point we don't offer samples for purchase.

STRAH-tee-uh. The name is based on the different layers of the epidermis (stratum corneum, stratum granulosum, etc.).
