Why we use it
Propanediol is similar to propylene glycol, and they serve similar functions: they help dissolve certain ingredients in a formula, and they’re great for drawing moisture to the skin. Stratia uses propanediol in Night Shift to help ensure the encapsulated retinol is evenly dissolved and dispersed throughout the formula.
