How it works
Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are skincare powerhouses. They dissolve the intercellular “glue” between dead cells on the surface of your skin, revealing the smooth, bright skin underneath.
Many AHAs can cause significant irritation and redness, especially to those with sensitive skin. Mandelic acid is the exception: it is a much larger molecule than glycolic acid, so it doesn’t penetrate the skin as deeply and causes less irritation.
Mandelic acid can increase cell turnover, fade hyperpigmentation, stimulate collagen production, and firm aging skin. Soft Touch AHA has 10% mandelic acid, along with skin-soothers like aloe, chamomile, and allantoin to give you bright, smooth skin with the least amount of irritation possible. Its light gel formula dries quickly and can be used under makeup and other skincare products.
Is it right for me?
Soft Touch AHA is suitable for a wide variety of skin types, and is especially suited to sensitive skin. To avoid over-exfoliating, it's best to use Soft Touch AHA once every 2-3 days until your skin adjusts, at which point it can be used daily. Like all AHAs, Soft Touch can be photosensitizing, so always use broad-spectrum sun protection when using this product.
NUT ALLERGY CAUTION: Please note that mandelic acid is derived from almonds. Check with your doctor before using.
All Stratia products are free of common irritants like fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils.

Didn't work for me
I have been using this product for a little over a month now and haven't seen any improvement in my skins texture. Still have the small skin colored bumps on my cheeks and they haven't lessened in size or amount.
I have to say I’m pretty blown away by this. I’ve been battling acne for the last 3 years. Any time I try to use a liquid exfoliate it ALWAYS back fires on me. Always making things worse. This is the first one I have used that I’ve actually seen a difference from and it’s only been a WEEK! I had all these little pimples on my forehead and this actually took most of them out. I’ve had a few pimples crop up but they have been super tiny. Nothing crazy. My skin also is SO SOFT. My complexion looks so much better than it has been. I was using TO mandelic acid and every time I put it on my skin would burn and I saw no positive benefit from it. This is amazing! Seriously considering it as my new HG. I’ve been using it every night and my skin is a little dry. I could probably back off to every other day but I just love how my skin looks in the morning! Please don’t change the formula because it’s the one thing I can actually trust! Lol
Мне он понравился на много больше тонера By Wishtrend Mandelic Acid 5%
My skin is prone to clogged pores, but it has very poor tolerance to most AHAs that are typical on the market, like glycolic and lactic. I was optimistic when I ordered this, since the product is designed for skin like mine that needs a gentler AHA, but I was dubious as to whether it would even be effective enough to justify keeping it as a step in my routine. Y'all. This has become my favorite skincare product of all time. I use it twice a week or so; usually when I take my makeup off and discover a small whitehead or closed comedone is when I will be prompted to reach for it. Overnight, those blemishes are gone. No dry spots, discoloration, nothing, it's literally like they were never there. It's so incredibly effective but gives me none of the side effects that other AHAs have given me, such as peeling and skin barrier damage. AND it has helped with my hyperpigmentation, which is my main skincare concern. This, along with a double cleanse routine and basic moisturizer, as well as a 2% BHA a couple of times a week, have become the most effective and simple skincare routine I've ever had. I do want to mention that this product smells like a sort of acidic almond extract (it's fragrance free, it's just the scent of the ingredients), which I personally actually like but your mileage may vary. It's also super, super sticky and shiny on the skin. Like, scotch tape sticky. This stickiness completely goes away once moisturizer is applied, but it still leaves a coated feeling on the skin. If you aren't used to a 'heavier' feeling face of skincare products at night you may struggle to adjust to it. If you've gone through the rigmarole of trying skincare routines over the years and have come to love that glazed donut feeling at night, you'll probably be fine.
Absorbs so well after a few minutes and my skin is definitely smoother HOWEVER the pump on this sticks and will shoot product out, wasting it nearly every time you use it!
