How it works
Fatty acids are absolutely crucial to skin health. As one of the main components in the skin’s moisture barrier, fatty acids are found throughout the epidermis and dermis.
Essential fatty acids, like omega-3 (alpha-linolenic) and omega-6 (linoleic), have a wide range of beneficial effects to the skin. They can mitigate UV damage, reduce the signs of aging, decrease sensitivity, and increase overall skin health. They can also lighten sun spots and other UV-induced hyperpigmentation. Borage seed oil, perilla seed oil, and cranberry seed oil contain 60-75% linoleic/alpha-linolenic acids each, giving Fortify its omega 3 and 6 components.
Oleic acid (omega-9) is a powerful moisturizer and skin-softener. Most of Fortify’s oleic acid comes from Camellia japonica oil, which has been shown to increase skin health and potentially reduce the signs of aging; it also has significant anti-inflammatory effects. Fortify’s other major source of oleic acid, marula oil, possesses strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant powers.
Is it right for me?
Fortify is a medium-weight oil that's minimally greasy and especially great for those with dry, combo, dehydrated, or sensitive skin. Pat a few drops into your skin before or instead of your usual moisturizer. Or, to give your normal routine a fatty acid boost, mix a couple drops into your serum, lotion, or foundation.
All Stratia products are free of common irritants like fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils.

Excellent, love to mix a few drops in with moisturizer
Soothing and long lasting
I've been using Fortify for about 9 months and I've stopped using the other oils in my medicine cabinet. This added to Liquid Gold every night over my retinol is all I use at night now!
I wasn't a facial oil person until this miracle product
I had never used facial oils before I took a chance and purchased this product, and pretty much on the first night, I was a total convert. I love this product. I mix it in with my Liquid Gold, about three drops, and a few pumps of LG. I stir it all together and then spread the wonderful concoction all over my face and neck. My face just feels more hydrated with this addition, and I love the soft glow it gives. This is one of the Stratia products I'm always going to repurchase and have a backup of. It's that good.
Great for sensitive skin
I love this oil, absorbs quality into my skin and calms it down. Helped a lot with my damaged skin barrier.
Good so far! Probably even better in the winter
Just got this and tried it out tonight, a few drops in my Liquid Gold moisturizer. I decided to try it because I'm using a Tretinoin product and it can be a little drying. I can tell a major difference in the amount of moisture in my skin as opposed to the Liquid Gold on its own. I probably won't need much in the summer, but really looking forward to how it helps in the winter, when I'm much drier. Wish the bottle was a little different, it's not a dropper (which is totally clear in the pics I just wasn't paying close enough attention). That's not a deal breaker but it makes it a little harder to get the drops out, since you don't squeeze the bottle, and they require you to shake the bottle a little to get the drops out. Overall it probably saves product so you don't overdo it but just not the most user friendly. That and the smell isn't great. It's not BAD, necessarily, just not super pleasant. I appreciate that there aren't any harsh fragrances though, and overall the scent doesn't linger so it's ok.
