Soft Touch AHA
A hyper-gentle, highly effective exfoliant to reveal smoother, clearer skin.
Get the skin-clearing power of alpha hydroxy acids without the irritation. Many AHAs like glycolic acid can damage sensitive skin; mandelic acid is the exception, providing similar levels of potency with much less irritation. Soft Touch helps clear clogged pores while brightening and firming even the most stubborn or sensitive skin. It’s fortified with skin-soothers like chamomile, aloe, and allantoin to keep your skin calm and healthy.
Clear, brighten, and firm, without the irritation.
Chamomile extract is blended in to provide a soothing, calming counterpoint to this resurfacing treatment.
Gently sloughs off dead skin, stimulates collagen production, and fades dark spots, with minimal irritation.
A potent skin-soother and antioxidant that fights irritation, redness, and inflammation.
Soothes, heals, and moisturizes while stimulating cell regeneration. Highly effective and well-studied.

How it works
Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) are skincare powerhouses. They dissolve the intercellular “glue” between dead cells on the surface of your skin, revealing the smooth, bright skin underneath.
Many AHAs can cause significant irritation and redness, especially to those with sensitive skin. Mandelic acid is the exception: it is a much larger molecule than glycolic acid, so it doesn’t penetrate the skin as deeply and causes less irritation.
Mandelic acid can increase cell turnover, fade hyperpigmentation, stimulate collagen production, and firm aging skin. Soft Touch AHA has 10% mandelic acid, along with skin-soothers like aloe, chamomile, and allantoin to give you bright, smooth skin with the least amount of irritation possible. Its light gel formula dries quickly and can be used under makeup and other skincare products.
Is it right for me?
Soft Touch AHA is suitable for a wide variety of skin types, and is especially suited to sensitive skin. To avoid over-exfoliating, it's best to use Soft Touch AHA once every 2-3 days until your skin adjusts, at which point it can be used daily. Like all AHAs, Soft Touch can be photosensitizing, so always use broad-spectrum sun protection when using this product.
NUT ALLERGY CAUTION: Please note that mandelic acid is derived from almonds. Check with your doctor before using.
All Stratia products are free of common irritants like fragrance, alcohol, and essential oils.

Didn't see a difference but didn't get any irritation either.
As great as Liquid Gold was, Soft Touch was equally as disappointing. It leaves a matte finish on my skin which I like but I didn't see any improvements. It just felt like a dry coat that was ineffective. Also, my bottle had major issues with the pump getting jammed and squirting out insane amounts of products. I won't be purchasing again.
Unfortunately this product clogged my pores I tried it for 3 days in a row and by the third day it was quite noticeable I really wanted to love this product :( ..... My skin is very reactive and I do not believe this is a bad product.....
Started using it at night mostly on my nose, didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and reduced my blackheads a TON in the first week.
After a debacle of over exfoliating last year, my face last year looked terrible. It got much, much better after using liquid gold and avoiding exfoliants for 6-9+ months while my moisture barrier repaired itself. However, I was still getting some mild congestion and I wanted to treat some hyperpigmentation/uneven tone issues so I finally mustered the courage to use this knowing it was a very gentle exfoliant. It really works so well and there is barely, if any, signs of irritation. I recommend gradually adding this to your routine as recommended on the product page (start 1x/week for a couple weeks before bumping up to 2x/week). I think I had some mild irritation after trying 3x/week so I scaled back, but honestly I'm happy with my results with 2x/week usage so I've just stuck with it. Along with liquid gold, rewind, and a different brand vit c, my skin has never looked better! Will definitely repurchase
